So it's not that I don't think about blogging....it's just between work, family and other creative pursuits I just haven't had time. June was very busy with birthdays (mine, Jesse's and Daniel's) plus a baby shower for my brother and his wife and father's day, the month just blew by!
I have gotten busy with quilting again and wanted to share some of my finishes for 2013.

| I call this a filmstrip quilt. I bought the kit at a store in Golden and I love the fabric! When I got it finished I just couldn't bear to give it away so it's still at home. Who knows maybe someday I'll be able to use it for a little girl :) This is the first quilt I've made with a traditional binding. |

| I made this quilt for my brother's baby. She's going to be born toward the end of August and they had a baby shower the first weekend in June. I was just barely able to finish in time but I think it turned out well. This is my first crack at triangles. |

This was another quilt for a baby. A friend at work is due at the end of August with a little boy named Kaiden. I did applique for the letters. I learn something new with each quilt and this one I learned about lining things up. I can see a few little errors but I'm not telling :)
